They are seen as a boys club. That just doesn’t wash these days. Times and younger people have changed significantly and they didn’t recognise that change and react to it.
The demographic for the boys club is ever decreasing. Literally dying off by the day.
I can see there will be an alternative coming soon. My view is it will spring from the younger, richer cohort.
As noted by @pintohoo this horse is dead. There are no up and coming members in the LNP that look anything like leadership material (at National level). They are garbage.
Labor also need to adapt their ways too. But at least they seem to learn and adapt. For me, they need to be bold this term and they’ll definitely have another go. If they sit back on their laurels they’ll also lose vote next time round.
Now is the time to put policies in place and go for it. Australian industry, mineral wealth and social aspects all need urgent help.
We’ve suffered enough over the last 25 years of reiterative LNP trash governments, and Krudd didn’t help either.
