certainly he could get Hanson and a couple of others on side, but the Labs need only a few to keep getting his bills passed. the Gov needs 6 Senators to win and there are 11 Greens, 3 Indis, and the Lambie's 2. PHONy's 2 and Puppy Palmer's 1 won't give the Opposition control.

under the Morrison mob, ASIC/APRA were under Gov control. now they're independent again and funded appropriately ist the job of these orgs to ensure investments are marked appropriately for risk. I doubt now that a local GFC-style crisis is as possible as it was 2 years ago. but there's no stopping mug punters from buying high risk bonds elsewhere. so maybe you have a strong point.

are you seeing any indicators of an imminent GFC? from any cause?

many minor nondescript parties have done preference deals to steal a seat in the Senate...there's hope for the remnants of the Libs yet..
