Our son works with a Sri Lankan fellow who is trying to get home to see his seriously ill mother.
Problem 1. Airlines won’t fly there because their is no aviation fuel available to get home.
Problem 2. There are no hire cars because their is no fuel for vehicles. His mother lives 20 km from the airport.
I hope the drongos in Solomons and Fiji are watching at the picnic the Chinese have provided.
