The Libs are not doing themselves any good with all this winging and muck throwing. A more likely result is people voting for more independents to get more attention for their electorates. The Nationals must be looking at themselves and wondering whether they still need to cling onto the coat tails of the Libs. The Greens realised years ago that there was fertile ground between the 2 major parties and with the world wide swing to smaller parties and resultant coalitions, that is the way to go. Unheard of coalitions are being made overseas but we have the 'shock, horror' reaction of the Libs when it happens here. Unless they pull up their socks they will be a permanent minor party, having to do deals after elections. Not that that would would be a bad way to go; make agreements after an election. Poor performers would be left out of the resultant government.
