    after the last election the Libs tried to move back to the centre via their first two leaders but the right decided enough was enough and stepped back in to take over. They only of a swing of 1.5% against a dysfunctional government that had lost its way.

    This will be seen for what it is - failure.

    Abbott then made a dogs breakfast of the negotiations. Robb was questioned many time about what was going on and he kept saying that it was all up to Abbott.

    This will also be seen as failure.

    They will put a pretend unity face on things for a while to save face but once the heat is on I expect it to fall apart and the move back to the centre to start again. Watch people like Pyne, Robb, Hunt as well as the right (Bronny has been spruiking I hear). Again, the Nats are not pleased with the Libs either and there will be some nastiness coming from that direction as they will blame the Libs for losing their influence in rural australia
