the right of the Libs will be blamed by the centre small l mob for not winning - they will decide that the party has swung too far to the right
the right will say - look how well we did - we won loads of seat (ignoring that the swing to the libs was minute)

this is where the split will widen into a chasm once they are put under pressure in parliament - the non right libs will start asserting themselves and the right won't take it
