    yep very true chris - and as always THATS THE PROBLEM.

    while we have compulsory voting, while TV stations thinking dominates the minimal thoughts of the MAJORITY OF AUSTRALIANS, anything is possible, including the greens getting support in a number of seats.

    most people, without researching a thing, will assume they stand for cleaner rivers & no logging, save the whales and growing ya own veggies, rather than any of the seemingly left wing ideals parts of the ALP possessed years ago, before they moved into the middle ground (in some areas).

    as i said, while you & i might think it implausible, it is a distinct possibility for the ferals to have a say in policy for the next 3 years.
