McGowan has stated at public forums that when it comes to the crunch she will support the party that achieved a 2PP majority.

McGowan has categorically denied being a front for National Party but has publicly accepted strong endorsement from both Tim Fischer and Ken Jasper.

She has also acknowledged campaign sponsorship support from the National Party while categorically denying any association with it or intention to do so later.

But what matters to the people of Indi is that she has promised to do her level best as a strong local advocate for the people of Indi - unlike Sophie Mirabella who has delivered nothing of substance and who is likely to deliver even less in future - even rolling back Labor commitments already in place.
