I think the main reason the Libs are on the nose is that they are up against such a brilliant government. The Dynamic Duo of Kevin Rudd and Wayne Swan, ably assisted by stellar contributors such as Julia Gillard and Lindsay Tanner, have in the face of the worst global recession in 80 years managed to keep the economy out of recession, unemployment below 6%, while holding the lowest government debt to GDP ratio in the Western World.
