@Bronco1; since the Kennett Regime was toppled in 1999, Labor has won government in Victoria art every election bar one - up until 2026 that's 24 years out of 28 under Bracks, Brumby and Andrews Labor governments in Victoria.
Victorians KNOW just how much damage Kennett's regime did to Victoria - the scorched earth policies are at the opposite end of the scale relative to Daniel Andrews' 'Big Build'. Brumby lost as the full force of the worst Global Financial Crisis in eighty years took its toll.
Then along came the Liberal Party's Lovable Ted Baillieu and Dennis Napthine - they did worse than nothing, contracting Victorians to the discredited and ill-conceived Melbourne Cemetery Tunnel. Andrews campaigned to undertake Labor's Big Build / Belt & Road - telling voters up front that he'd scrap the Coalition's disastrous Cemetery Tunnel if elected.
Labor invested heavily in transforming Victoria into Australia's 'education and biomedics state', even building the Sthn Hemisphere's only synchotron and the new Peter Mac. Cancer Centre. They've re-created our rail and tram networks and are on track to remove 120 of Victoria's worst level crossings.
Victorians know all bout that stuff and so much more! They remember only too well what Kennett's regime did and what the Baillieu-Napthine 'government' did NOT do. If they needed a reminder, Scott Morrison and Peter Dutton chimed in!
