I guess perception is everything .. but I remember him skiting how Putin wasn't going to attack Ukraine cos he talked him out of it!..China threatened Taiwan just after he visited.. and is still instrumental to Russia maintaining the war effort
Europe as a whole is stupid really... as is Victoria, S Aust really.. look at Germany ( under conservatives, yes) and them all cuddling up to Russia ( and the pipeline, yes) despite Chechnya and Georgia and several other incursions which showed their true colours, plus good knows how many times they caught them out with internet interference and malfeasance!....Eurooes energy policies have been unwise.....Europe have been naive with China too, due to human rights abuses but China's lack of respect for patents, trade rules etc
