Pintohoo, your knowledge of history and the way the world has unfolded is poor at best. The USA never really wanted the role of enforcing world order. After WW1 it downsized its defence forces and fell way behind in weapons development. It was the US President (Hoover? ) Who declared that WW1 was "the war to end all wars." Happy to have excellent internal quality of life, distant from conflict, a roaring domestic economy, ample opportunities it did not want involvement in Europe and the rise of both Nazism and Communism. It had zero real interest in expansionism in Asia beyond a small Phillipines prescence. WW2 was thrust upon the Americans, After it's ending. the world, the formation of the UN, the immigrant desire to be part of it has meant it has taken a natural role as World Police Officer. There has been miscalculations and hubris over the last 70 years but no honest student of history or geopolitics will argue that America is about as good as the human race can come up with. Your continual bashing of it, pro China rhetoric and anti western leanings is childish, ignorant and dangerous. You live in a country that the Americans freed (twice) yet still have no respect for this. Try Ukraine, Belarus, Russia or some other third world ghetto. You are out of touch with both Australia and World realities.
