    I think it's too hard to guess against geothermal or other renewables at this stage, partially because it's power generation AND desal. Our need for water in the near future is almost certainly going to outstrip our need for electricity given our abundance of cheap coal. So it's hard to compare the two equally. CNM also seems to be a very news based stock from what i've seen so with some long lead times geothermals could definately take an early lead. I mean hell, GDY is in the middle of a drill right now, it's not quite the same as oil exploration but i'm sure there will be a decent pay off if it provides proof of concept.

    The only thing i've been able to really do is spread the risk between DYE, GDY(& PTR through BPT) and CNM. The only sector I'm not really in atm is wind... And truth be told I'm slightly more interested in actually buying land with a windmill or two on it than buying any one stock :)
