One thing is for sure whichever way the result goes... legislating against mining uranium won’t happen. The nats have publically expressed the support for uranium mining.
On another note and as a rural person this result couldn’t have gone better for regional areas. With the nats keen to implement their royalties for regional areas policy, we could see some much needed injection of funds into regional infrastructure. They have never been in a stronger position, and, can call the shots. After listening to Brendan Grills last night I have to disagree Fatstocks, I think the nats will from a coalition with whoever supports their Royalties for regional policy.
