We don’t have to agree on everything, Lap.
My educational levels, views on other policies and political stance maybe different to yours but I think we kind of agree or at least have some common ground on some things.
I don’t see friends on the international stage, I see like minded individuals who would like to be mates but they will bend us over for a dollar because “That’s just Business “!
If we look back to WW1 Japan was great if we look at WW2 they were a Heelers back passage, in the 80’s they were buying our golf courses and products and now they’re a bit player in our lives.
Same goes for UK, USA, China and the rest.
Regardless of being a small economy on the global stage, we have to look to ourselves because all the other look after themselves first and while they may say they’re our friends that is only relative to their own situation at the time.
