I too washed cloth nappies way back. With plain old velvet soap found still there in supermarket in far North QLD. They dried, blowing in the wind and under sunshine most days. Healthy babies do not cost an arm and a leg to rear. In fact it is not too costly with kids, for a long time. Agree that it's getting up to the teens, when it's very costly. So right there.
The Libs are desperate for the women's vote. This is pretty obvious, and do think that most women would be very much aware of this.
What is disturbing is that Abbott is trying his hardest to appeal to the lowest level in humans. All these huge carrots coming out in a frenzy to invoke greed, jealous, envy etc. Not too good is it?
