Hmmm ... I have never seen such a disingenuous policy pledge as LNP in declaring no plans to increase the GST.

Clearly, LNP have opened the door by way of a GST tax review should they win a second term .. saying the law requires all States to agree.

Given the States are cash-strapped it is 'fait accompli' that all States will vote for an increase.

Abbott will do a "Pontius Pilate" and simply 'wash his hands' saying '...the States made me do it !!"

This is grubby politics and we deserve better !!!
