you just made me realise something with my expectations of the sale value of our company.
ive been looking at the global memory market and going "well its worth about $50b for dram etc and then estimating an expected value from that. Ie my realistic target was ~50cps or about half a billion market cap. (Despite my dribbling about hiring a private jet etc) what i just realised is that $50b for dram globally is also annually.
so lets just bash this out and say 4ds was to hypothetically become a producer of memory chips and we cornered 5% of that market so thats 2.5 billion a year. Any one want to work out the enterprise value on that....
ie even if some one buys us today. They reap the rewards for years to come.
is this how JD is thinking when he says this will be his biggest deal ever. Think the others where 1 and 4 billion each or something like that.
any way just my mind wandering after a few beers.
