This guarantees no more major foreign investment in Malaysia. While we can work with the new conditions(no real surprises here), any potential future investor can see how far these idiots have moved the goalposts for Lynas purely for political purposes and how the regulators/administrators in Malaysia are incompetent, have no balls to make decisions and just sway with the political breeze whenever and whichever way it blows.
We should send them an invoice for the money and time wasted to date on researching alternatives (condisoil) etc. How dare they ask for a percentage of sales for R&D given how much time and effort they have wasted.
Ship out the WLP back to Aus or somwhere else and sell it as fertilizer. WES may be interested.
Then start dismantling and relocating the rest of the plant back to Aus or to Vietnam when the C&L plant has been established in WA.
