Agree, while six months is not ideal the fact remains that Japan will still require Lynas RE's six months from now. As Fuzzy said, Japan can provide significant leverage to ensure the flow of RE's doesn't even glitch and there is not much Malaysia can do...
At the end of the day, Lynas has not missed a step, NEXT is a resounding success, production has not suffered significantly and the dollars keep rolling in the door. The political story is beginning to gain momentum on the Lynas side and Wong and company are running out of (ridiculous) ideas...
It is pretty clear that the undercurrents steering this issue are very powerful and I am quite pleased that they came into play. I'm pretty sure we will hear no more from Japan as they sit successfully in the background. I look at this a a lukewarm victory for Lynas while it is a sizzling defeat for the opposition... JMHO...
