    Billy,

""I have a largish holding in a company - started in Australia, now dual listed in USA also. In the medical device area. Just before and after listing in the US it went mad.""

I understand what you are saying, but may I add that is the reason I don't invest in Bio stocks.

Someone once described to me that investing in them is like standing in the shower and ripping up ten dollar bills and watching them go down the drain.

They burn money at a massive rate of knots and dilute the company to having obscene amounts of shares on issue.

And the time it takes for them to actually start making money can be countless of years, having to negotiate all the hurdles like FDA approvals and then human trials that can take years and years to complete..

They are a risky investment because one day you wake up with a trading halt announcement and the news of the current patient trial is not up to scratch and half your money is suddenly gone.

Meanwhile on the homefront LNG is still having to deal with a major shareholder exiting. The insto's overseas are slowly mopping up his shares. When he is eventually out, I would imagine that the insto's will find it difficult to get big lines of stock.

I look forward to that day. We might see huge rises at that point in time.

On a bright note the fall on the Dow as I forcasted, did not eventuate.

Glad I was wrong in this instance. Was surprised with the 160 point rise to be honest.

You gotta love the Americans. One never knows what they will do next.

Our market yesterday got it very wrong. Should see a spike up on Monday.

There would have been a few waking up this morning having sold many stocks in their portfolio now wondering where do they go from here.

The difficulty in selling shares in times of uncertainty is WHEN does one actually get back in.

When confidence has suddenly returned, unfortunately you then faced with having to buy back in at inflated prices.

I think the word many would be using right now is BUMMER.

    Enjoy your weekend all.

I am off to have a nice meal at one of my favourite restaurants and then catching a movie.

    Cheers.
