Hi Luke. I work in an investment advisory firm. We basically spend all our time looking for good funds for our clients. So as part of that, we interview fund managers around the world in search of those who we think make the grade (and spend a lot of time potholing all those we think people shouldn’t touch, which is a lot longer list than those we like!).

I’m happy to make a few broad suggestions. But firstly, what are lookin for? It kind of sounds like you are after returns that are higher than cash but without the same level of risk as shares? Also, what’s your investment horizion? Are you likely to need that capital any time soon? How are you investing, are you looking to invest in managed funds directly or through a platform? What about ASX available investments such as LICs, ETFs or mFunds?

Give me some flavour as to what you’re thinking and I’ll try to throw out a few names that may be worth looking at.
    Cheers.
