Wars have been going on since the beginning of time. Middle East, Japan/China, Roman conquests, Russia, Sth Africa, Zulus, Philippines, Muslim conquests of the 7th Century, USA fighting for democracy...it goes on and on.

In case you don't know, the indigenous peoples fought and killed each other on a tribal basis, they just weren't clever enough to invent weapons effective enough to win the wars. Wars are not a modern thing. Human species can't help themselves.
