As investors, only two things to do. Plan for the worst case scenario, cash out of all your stocks, buy gold and a small hobby farm somewhere remote and go completely off grid. Or grit your teeth and hope for not-the-worst case scenario and just keep plugging away, living a semi-comfortable urban lifestyle while stressing out as every rabid bit of "breaking news" keeps getting endlessly re-broadcast.

I often imagine myself doing the former and living in a zero stress environment, never listening to the news, tending to my veggie patch and disconnecting completely from society.

But for those of us existing miserably in the latter option, WBC like the other big three has got to be among the least stressful of investments. You'll never get rich but you wont lose the lot and in between you get a halfway decent full franked yields.
