Towie I did a 3 year degree while working mostly full time in my new profession, despite graduating with honours I was not able to obtain paid work without doing 6 months of work experience. I am a network technician, employers these days do not want to invest any money in training or developing staff they want the ready made product at no cost to them no wonder we have a skills shortage. Part of the blame can be put at the feet of bussiness who have been ABLE to rely on the skilled migrant to take up the slack at no training cost to them.
