Since mining started in 1959 (64 years ago) at Koolan Island we are now down to extracting ore from a depth of 125 metres below sea level.
The mine has been modelled to a depth of 215 metres.
The resource is open / continuous at depth (no drill has yet found a bottom to the resource).
Further infill drilling is required to convert resource to reserve.
