In the March quarterley Peter Kerr stated that his "focus for Koolan is loading ships". He did not mention exploration in main pit.

In the March quarterly, Peter Kerr stated he was "following two lines of strike of high grade" (from previous reports . . . one to the east and one to the west). From Peter Kerr's description of these 2 strikes as "consistently hitting high grade" that may well be better than what to expect under the JORC's top classification of "proven reserve" which is generally referred to by geologists as being a 50 / 50 shot.

The March quarterly did state waiting on lab results for drills at Tallering Peak (130 km east of Geraldton).

Since 1970 (following Poseiden) the ASX requires classification of resources and reserves to be done by the code governed by the JORC (Australasian Joint Ore Reserves Committe). As highly technical that the JORC classification method of reporting / classifying resources / reserves is, it has no shortage of critics identifying flaws and weaknesses in the system. Prior to 1970, ASX investors relied on the word of the Board of Directors.

A couple of years ago Peter Kerr was able to increase the ore reserve by 1.5 mt by increasing the angle of repose of the northern wall by 5 degrees.

The most recent comprehensive drill program with detailed core sample results, dates back to 2010 . . . which involved a myraid of holes scattered all over main pit, with detailed lab results for each hole (freely available on the net).

At the moment the main pit is highly trafficked with mining operations from both east and west ends of the pit being carried out simultaneously, while at the same time carrying out reinforcement work on the back wall.

The current "focus on loading ships" is what many posters on here have been calling for.
