    I SPENT a good deal of last year managing a study of baby boomers who were more or less on the verge of retirement.
    The Monash Baby Boomer Study, now a public document (http://tinyurl.com/ycpswxw), was to assess boomers' expectations from a local council perspective.

    One of the key findings, and one highly relevant to the property sector, is the fact that 70 per cent of surveyed boomers in Melbourne's middle-class City of Monash said they planned to stay in the family home in retirement.
