Good post Pwinne. The key difference between the haves and have-nots in society is the attitude to succeed. Have-nots will always find reasons not to do something or at least delay it, while haves will go out and do it.

"Then you will see the rise of a new socialist-type political party (kind of what Labor once stood for?) and the 'haves' will start to see their accumulated wealth 'confiscated' by policy changes designed to benefit the majority."

Yeah this old communist style type government works real well lol, and is generally uttered by those that want everything given to them in life!

Just love the following from the article:
"He said a range of reforms should be considered, including greater access to longer leases of up to 10 years, US-style controls over rent rises, and minimum quality standards for rental properties."
    1) I would love to be able to lock in a tenant for a 10 year lease.
    2) Control "rent rises" - yep just what we need more of in life more government control!
    3) "Minimum Quality Standings" - that could be interesting as it could push up the cost of lower end dwellings. Most are more than liveable now and people have the choice to rent them or not if they don't like them.
