Just before the fall I noticed the buy side was very thin, easily manipulated to trigger stop losses and panic selling.
Unfortunately it happened to another stock I am in (AVQ) within a week. It happened the day after a buy order expired so I missed out on the bounce. Extremely thin buy volume the morning before it happened.
Yes, the buyers made money on paper for now, but the seller who started the selling made more I would say. And I have more stock in ALK now.
