Now this is fascinating - and pertinent as far as the world sees Vanadium and it's future.
A new mine is producing Vanadium Pentoxide in Khazakstan - up to 10,000,000 tonnes of ore PA.
The interesting part?
They are operating at a significant reduction of potential capacity so as not to (in their own words) - "Oversupply The Market".
The newest kid on the block obviously sees what is clear to people outside of the Vanadium bubble - there is little to no demand at present.
The fact that they see anything over 5,600 tonnes of Vanadium PA as excess should be a sobering reality check.
The Vanadium 'surge' isn't real.
It will - as it always has been - be driven by a construction boom (non-military) and batteries - (the ultimate in a ONE AND DONE market due to reusable electrolyte) - and not by VFB's.
