Notice in the Market Depth how the Buyers are building as the Sellers thin out as the day progresses?
The Sellers are thinning out because everyone who would have re-acted to the announcement already has sold. The Downwards volume weighted momentum that was there yesterday simply isn't there to the same degree today. Sellers are getting absorbed at these levels.
Its all to do with the supply and demand dynamics of the share register when trading the short term.
