Converting it all back to AUD--for the benefit of Australian investors
asumptions are made that the USD/AUD rate averages 70c
Production costs in AUD average $850
Sales in AUD average $1300
=$450 per ounce profit
=$A117m profit before tax
(unless my elementary maths are totally wrong)!
PS: FORGET any ASX gold producer that has anything other than a minimum
of gold hedging---NO HEDGING is IDEAL! SBM has none.
