Yes lets hope good news comes out soon. I believe that anything greater than .5 log reduction in Viral load will be good news given the cost effectiveness to manufacture vir201. As PA says a 1 log reduction will basically blow the competition out of the water in this field and anything
greater would ensure that VIR201 could not be ignored by Pharma's and anyone in the HIV field. Should the reduction be less than .5 it would depend on how much less and the longevity of the effect. the previous results offered a 10 fold reduction in Viral load, If that can be bettered in the SA trials, then Virax is in with a shot at getting some market share of the 15 billion AUD that the HIV vaccine industry consumes.
