Has there ever been light beams that have travelled from any distant star ( not our sun) reach our earth's surface ???
What would be the intensity of the light, could it be strong enough to light up the dark side of earth (night time),using Alpha Centauri as the nearest source of light.
Could there be a time in the future that all of earth's surfaces could be bathed in light from distant stars, no night time.
