what is light oil. isnt that good. better than heavy oil.
Hi Cornelius, AFAIU, light sweet crude (with less sulphur and other 'nuisance' content) is good! The lighter the better because they are much easier to refine, and can be processed by a lot more refineries. Some heavy crude, like some of those from the Middle East, are so heavy that they are usually sold at a discount to the nymex spot price because they are much harder to refine into products.
Like someone else said, I agree that there's outside forces driving the share price at the moment - which is way beyond our control.
