And herein lies the cusp of the issue…..The ultra Orthodox Jews are just as bad or should I say worse than Hamas. Let’s not forget they are the same people (as per DNA) & they are both from the same land so one should not have the right over the other. Is it an oxymoron for the Israelis to call the Palestinians terrorists? Do people here realise the Jewish state came to into being by the Israeli terrorist attacks on British troops & Palestinian civilians before 1947-48! Are the Palestinians using the same tactics as their oppressors to try & establish their state too? Both have a right to exist but both also need autonomy so the best solution would be to build a wall around Gaza & the West Bank & call it Palestine with the removal or withdrawal of the Jewish settlements. It’s proved most of them cannot live together & the push by theses nasty pieces of work to takeover the little remaining Palestinian land left claiming it’s really theirs & the treatment of the Palestinians as a whole as prisoners is what is keeping this situation at blowing point! There was a great story on foreign correspondent a week ago showing the treatment of Palestinians in the West Bank with an interview with an ex Israeli soldier who happened to be the ex second in charge of the Israeli military ……he is totally against the settlements & clearly states each time they increase in size so do the tensions. Funny how his view being one of the most experienced Jewish soldiers in the West Bank is at odds with the current corrupt dog who is trying to stay in power to avoid prison time by aligning with the ultra right party trying to expand those same settlements. You can’t keep poking at a bear & not expect retaliations so if the Jews really want peace they need to exit the West Bank & Palestine needs to be acknowledged as a nation too.
