The link only mentions the protocol that they are currently using - ZigBee, not that they are using Telink chips.
They all used that originally, because it was the first one out there (huge in Europe, where IoT began), before the IEEE 802.15.4 standard was set. I think that Telink was just getting a bit of cheeky mileage out of mentioning their names ... or they were signing agreements with them at the time this was done - 2013 apparently.
Either way, as long as they have a Telink chip in them, it doesn't matter what protocol they use - ARDC doesn't care!
