As the only proponents of a heat-exchanger-within-insulator model, I'd say PTR are a shoo-in for the $7M grant. These grants are to be awarded to assist the various models of geothermal exploration and production being proposed, and, as such, benefit unique projects such as Paralana.
Hopefully such a grant will allow existing funds to be directed towards the wonderfully accessible resource at Madrid. An accelerated development program outside the initial site will provide an excellent revenue stream that will eclipse the potential of Paralana, and will allow a second focus on the highly prospective volcanic projects.
