To bleat the obvious, with the stock up 13% it appears the lights are not out after all, and there is clearly no capital raising coming that has been socialised with anyone. So i don't know why uninformed people on this chat keep bleating about an imminent capital raising. It is NOT happening. And i'm happy to bet anyone on this.
Also note the current opposite movements in BHP and Mins in the last hour, with BHP down (P/e 9 and still cheap) and Mins up P/e of 3, very cheap.
Many people such as Marks, Klarman, Lynch, Roubini etc have asked my views on this rotation from BHP into MINS and said it was fairly obvious trade given the relative P/E differences which it is quite easy to arbitrage.
