I am a bit confused with this. How does this all work?

If you didn't take part in the placement it seems that you will get money back...what kind of logic is that?

what if you took part in the placement?

I was entitled to 2500 odd shares at 2.3. Now what does this mean in todays terms? The price as at yesterday was 3.1 close. Does this mean that the price will come back down to 2.3?

If the price comes back to 2.3 then we have lost money.
