    Lihir to me seems like a good gold hedge against teh US ecomony and teh US dollar. Australian gold producers will suffer rom teh rising AUD and buying US godl stocks exposes you to a falling USD.

    Lihir gives "neutral" exposure to gold and i am using it as a hedge against US deficit.
