LHG closed on the ASX at 1.44 bid, and so an equivalent percentage decline would translate to between two and three cents. But, the pricing in the US is not based on a currency ratio only, as the amount of shares issued is vastly different.
Furthermore, of course due to the Australia Day holiday, the ASX is not trading Monday.
Are you aware that Lihir Gold is also listed on the German Bourse?
Fat Prophets, the respected Australian tipster, has Lihir Gold as its hottest number for 2004. What LHG needs is a smart uptick in the POG.
