I use to own Lihir Gold shares for quite a few years. From memory it only paid a dividend once. So how can landowners be restless. I do not understand with such high grades & 60 or 80 million ounces in a dormant volcano. How could it be making so many losses. From memory some say they have to drill to release steam from the dormant volcano. This is all just gossip from my memory. very unreliable. Again, why should landowners be restless. It is the shareholders who feel the pain. Ouch.
