gogreen, I suggest you tell that to Tesla Motors and their customers. The first 2 year's production of the Tesla Roadster was sold out one year in advance.
You might also tell that to Nissan and Toyota too...
Nissan and NEC announced that they had finalized a partnership to produce lithium-ion batteries starting in 2009.
Also, in 2009 Toyota has announced that the third generation Prius and all Toyota hybrids will utilize lithium-ion batteries - another nail in the NiMH battery coffin.
