Someone will be holding the new shares during the drilling program. They won't just evaporate in to outer space.
I'm also sure that the risks and the benefits were well explained to those who put up the funds.
But if they failed to understand and just took a punt then there may be more sellers. No one knows but the holder and the observer of the trade.
It's just a transfer of risk and benefit according to how the holder sees their own capacity to handle risk and benefit.
Looking at the News agent when a big prize is in the Lotto, I see that a lot of Australians want to be rich despite the almost impossible odds.
PVD have odds in favour of the punter at the moment and the punter is a seller because they can't figure out how good this is.
No wonder most people get nowhere.

The odds are well and truly in favor of the holder at the current price. That doesn't guarantee a win. Just a much better chance to win than to loose.
