Tokyo...No,mcr are one of the higher cost producers although they are gradually getting their cost down.
but at todays ni prices,they are only just keeping their head above water.
Lucky they have a good cash balance.
As for a merger with igo,I can't see this happening.
Igo is a lower cost producer,plenty of cash in bank and good exploration prospects,not forgetting tropicana gold exploration.
Mcr have several producing mines and some must be getting marginal,cost wise, with the falling ni price.
