More than just a thought Seam, good thought at that.
As I shared offline with a fellow investor yesterday, MEL's seemingly current inactivity (in public view anyway) does not engender confidence in how soon Lions Way might get up, and until it does, enabling gas flow north of the border, enabling gas swaps, LNG really needs greater surety than that.
As you rightly say, first train out of FL, WCL ideally provides resource to LNG, construction @ FL recommences, LNG would love to be able to export before or around same time as Gladstone majors.
This increasingly unlikely with MEL gas as start-up, but by time 2nd LNG train from FL needs gas MEL more confident to supply.
It HAS to be LNG or they've been pipped again Seam.
Of course, would they get WCL this easily? WCL seem to say not.
Most intriguing...and enjoyable surmising.
