Aaphid, if you wish to vote against the proposal you are of course welcome to.
However there are a couple of things I would like to point out:
1) AFG has a loan of about $130m outstanding to Alleasing. They will only be receiving about $50m (if I remember correctly) so are taking an $80m loss. Admittedly they could choose to take a bigger loss but they are not making a profit as far I can see.
2) Given AFG is close to being placed in administration, there is a strong possibility that AHUG holders could end up with less than is on offer now. I share your views about the Letter of Support but have serious doubts about whether it is realistic to expect that to provide a bigger pay out in the longer term.
