I await the announcement that provides more detail on this deal, but it seems to me that if the principal of the hybrid is paid out a month or so early that there is still 5 months of coupon payment owing under the terms of the prospectus.
With AHUG trading at $30, with what would seem to be a relatively certain repayment of $41.97 in Feb (an annual IRR of 170% on just the first payment), the market must be ascribing a lot of uncertainty to the deal being approved.
